THE SCRIPTURES ARE INSPIRED BY GOD.

THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE GOD
We Believe...there is only one true God - revealed in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity). [Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Luke 3:22]
IN THE DEITY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
We Believe...in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. As God’s son Jesus was both fully human and divine. [Matthew 1:23; Luke 24:39; Acts 2:22, 1 Corinthians 15:3; Philippians 2:9-11]
REPENTANCE AND JESUS’S WORK ON THE CROSS
We Believe...we were created in God’s image and through disobedience separated from Him but that we can be saved and restore fellowship with Him through repentance and accepting Jesus’s work on the cross.Humans will either exist eternally separated from God by sin in Hell, or accept Christ’s gift of the forgiveness of sin and be saved. Eternal union with Him is eternal life. WATER BAPTISM BY IMMERSION | THE LORD’S SUPPER
We Believe...and practice water baptism by immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving Christ’s gift of salvation, and the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation. [Matthew 28:19; Acts. 2:38; Romans 6:4; Luke 22:15-20; 1 Corinthians 11:26]
BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT IS AN EXPERIENCE FOLLOWING SALVATION
We Believe...baptism in the Holy Spirit is an experience following salvationavailable to all believers that empowers us for living, as in New Testament times. We believe in the orderly exercise of all the gifts of the Holy Spirit, with an emphasis on the character of Christ (the fruit of the spirit). We encourage the personal use of the gift of tongues. [Luke 24:49; Acts 10:44-46; 1 Corinthians 12-14]
EVERY BELIEVER IS MADE HOLY (SANCTIFIED) AT SALVATION
We Believe...every believer is made holy (sanctified) at salvation and grows in their experience of this throughout life, as we separate ourselves from evil and grow closerto Christ. [Romans 12:1-2; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15-16]
THE CHURCH HAS A MISSION TO SEEK AND SAVE ALL WHO ARE LOST IN SIN
We Believe...the Church has a mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin under the leadership of men and women who are divinely called to serve a local body of believers. Each of us is to reach others for Christ, worship Him with other believers and edify and care for those in our local body. [Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 12:28; Ephesians 1:22-23]
DIVINE HEALING OF THE SICK IS FOR CHRISTIANS TODAY
We Believe...divine healing of the sick is for Christians today and is provided for in Christ’s atonement (His sacrificial death on the cross for our sins). [Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-16]
THAT JESUS WILL RETURN FOR HIS CHURCH (HIS BRIDE)
We Believe...that Jesus will return for His church (His bride), reign here on earth for the Millenium, followed by a final judgment and the creation of a new heaven and a new earth. [Romans 8:23; 1 Cor-inthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Isaiah 11:6-9; Ezekial 37:21-22; Zecharish14:5, Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 20:11-15, 2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21 & 22]
