New Life Internship

Start Date: January 17th

Time Commitment: 4 months

Tuition: $575

Detailed Schedule

Tuesdays: 6:30-9:30 pm   Jan. 17-May 9 at CDA Bible Church (opposite CHS); April 11, May 16, 23, 30 at New Life building.

                    Perspectives of the World Christian Movement”  (Expected homework time: 2-3 hours)

Wednesdays: 5:00-8:00 pm

             All-church Connection and Activation at New Life, Jan. 18-April 5; Untold Story of the New Testament, at Warnicks’ home, April              12-May 31 (Expected homework time: variable during Connection Time, up to 1 hour; during New Testament class, 2 hours)

Sundays: 9:00-11:45 am  Jan. 22-April 9 at New Life; 8:00 am-12:45 pm, April 16-May 28 at New Life

                    Serve in children/youth/support every other Sunday. On the alternate Sunday, simply be part of adult service, thru April 2.  April 9 and on, service commitment may change. (Expected homework time: 1/2 hour)

              Retreats: There will be an opening team-building retreat, and a closing debriefing event scheduled around the participants’ schedules.

TOTAL TIME COMMITMENT: 12-15 hours/week plus the two weekend retreats (set based on interns’ schedules).

 

 

For those who want and can handle more, these are optional:

·       The Art of Hearing God – STREAMS Ministries weekend seminar with Rob Mazza. Tentatively a Thursdayevening, all day Friday

 and Saturday in late February (registration $105 adults; $75 under 18).

·      LEAD Seminar – March 23, 9am-12 noon, Spokane Valley (free).

·      MANIFEST – Holy Spirit conference at Freedom Fellowship, CDA; March 26-April 2 with Dr. Lewis Gregory. Detailed schedule forthcoming.

·      NORTHWEST MINISTRY NETWORK annual conference, Monday early evening, April 24; daytime-Tuesday & Wednesday, April 25 & 26.

 

Bonus option:

For those who know they want to pursue the courses to be a “Certified” Minister in the Assemblies of God, for an extra $85 fee we will go through the necessary steps to qualify this internship as one of the 8 courses needed to qualify as a “Certified Minister” in the Assemblies of God.

 

Follow-up:

For those who want to continue preparing for ministry, we’ll offer on a group or self-study basis the Assemblies of God on-line/correspondence course “Hermeneutics” – How to interpret the Bible. This is one of the eight courses needed to qualify as a “Certified Minister” in the Assemblies of God.
